Clarisse has been a qualified lawyer since 2016 and has led Majorelle Mobility since 2020. She brings niche expertise to Majorelle Conseil’s clients on matters related to international mobility, business immigration, and the posting of foreign workers to France, including intra-group mobility, subcontracting, and cross-border service provision. More broadly, she advises foreign companies, both within and outside the European Union, on the employment and social management of their teams in France.

Professional background

Clarisse joined Majorelle Avocats in 2020 to develop the firm’s international practice and lead its activities in global mobility and business immigration.

As Head of Majorelle Mobility, Clarisse advises French and international companies of all sizes and across all industries on the full range of issues related to international workforce mobility: hiring of foreign employees, international assignments (secondments and expatriations), and the posting of foreign workers to France, whether in the context of intra-group mobility, foreign subcontracting, or cross-border service provision.

Fluent in English and German, Clarisse also supports foreign businesses in establishing operations in France and managing the employment and HR compliance of their local teams.

She is an active member of the Franco-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, the France-Canada Chamber of Commerce, and the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Clarisse regularly delivers webinars within these business communities to raise awareness among companies seeking to enter the French market or expand into the US, UK, or Canada. In 2024, she also joined the FNRP (National Foundation of Relocation Professionals).

Clarisse is a frequent contributor to specialised legal journals, publishing articles on the latest developments in immigration and mobility law (notably in Lamy Mobilité Internationale, Lamy Droit des Étrangers, Les Cahiers du DRH, Liaisons Sociales Lamy, AJ Pénal). She also writes for a broader audience in specialist online publications such as Relocate, U-Global, and French Morning, helping demystify international mobility and immigration for a global readership.

Clarisse holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from Sciences Po Paris (Master 2 – Companies, Markets and Regulation), and a Master’s degree in Labour Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016, and previously practiced at Flichy Grangé Avocats, a leading French employment law firm.
