Professional background
Jean-Charles is a partner and co-founder of Majorelle Avocats. He advises companies on the day-to-day management of employment and social law matters, covering both individual issues (contractual matters, disciplinary procedures, etc.) and collective issues (working time arrangements, employee representative relations, collective bargaining, reorganisations, and social due diligence).
He also regularly handles complex, high-stakes cases involving shareholder-executives.
Jean-Charles began his career at Arsene Taxand, where he developed expertise in international mobility and the social and tax optimisation of compensation schemes. He later joined the employment law department of Advant Altana, a leading Paris-based business law firm, where he gained recognised experience in high-stakes advisory and litigation work—particularly in matters involving discrimination, harassment, remuneration, and the employment law implications of corporate restructurings.
He is the author of several legal publications, including “Le Contrôle Urssaf en pratique” (Lamy editions), and has contributed to specialist employment law journals.
Jean-Charles is a member of ANDRH 8ème Elysée and co-founded the think tank “Observatoire des Métiers du Futur”.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and a Master’s degree in Business Tax Law from the University of Rennes I.
In 2019, he co-founded Majorelle RH with Olivier Motte and Sébastien Giraud, followed by the launch of Majorelle Talents in 2023.
Jean-Charles also leads the Paris sessions of Explore RH, a learning programme for HR Directors of companies with over 100 employees, focusing on a broad range of HR topics.
